A Blog about Retail Supplies and more!
If you work at a department or convenience store, and one of your primary responsibilities is tagging items with a pricing gun, you probably get a little, well, sick of it after a while.
There’s not a whole lot you can do to break up the potential monotony, but you can at least make the price tagging guns look a little cooler. How, you ask? There are a few ways — take a look at a couple below:
Bedazzling
What you need:
Depending on how much time you want to put into this, you can either glue a few rhinestones here and there (try either side of the trigger, or in a straight line along the top); use the marker to draw a design and then glue the stones along the lines; or just go all out and cover ever inch of the body of the price gun.
Paint
Put tape over the parts of the gun you don’t want painted (you could also try to carefully take the whole thing apart — just make sure you’ll be able to put it back together!) and apply 1-2 coats of paint to the body. Let it dry completely, then apply a coat of the finish. Once that’s completely dried, remove the tape or put the price gun back together.
